Today in class we talked about how to set up a grid system in CSS. This was super helpful for me because I attempted to do something like a grid system in my last page but it failed horribly and couldn't scale. The key command that I didn't know to do was the "float" command which allows div classes to go beside each other. After the lecture we were introduced to the last project. For the project we need to make a single web page for a Kickstarter campaign of our choosing. After the introduction we were let of to kick starter to start browsing campaigns. Here are some of the ones I looked at that I thought were worth considering:
-YOUnicorn: a book to help you discover your inner unicorn
-Rocket Science: a children's book that explains the fundamentals of space travel.
-Odd dog: an animated short about a cat that thinks its a dog.
-Root: a game of woodland might and right.
-Aurora: a practical effects retro time travel creature feature
-Advanced Death Saves: a comics anthology about player's table top RPG character's deaths
-Color Spike: a Portable LED for Film and Photo use.
The projects that I'm currently thinking about doing the webpage for are Root, Rocket Science, and Color Spike, but really any from the list above would be good for me.
